Dr. Khalid K. Al-Sharif is an American Board-certified Consultant in Internal Medicine with more than three decades of clinical experience across the United States, Qatar, and the UAE. His extensive career spans internal medicine, hospital medicine, neuro-hospital medicine, and the management of medically complex patients, supported by longstanding experience in clinical leadership and medical education.
His clinical interests include the medical management of acute stroke, gastrointestinal disorders, obesity management, pain management, addiction disorders, and infectious diseases. During nearly nine years as a Consultant Neuro-Hospitalist within the Neurology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he gained extensive experience in the medical management of patients with acute neurological conditions. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Al-Sharif has held academic appointments in the United States and has contributed to medical education, clinical governance, quality improvement, and the training of medical students and residents.
